There was pandemonium in K- Dere community in the Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State as one Lucky Mene Zorde brutally murdered his father simply identified as Mene Gabe Zorde, a 70-year-old man at the weekend.
According to reliable sources after killing the father, the son threw the corpse into a well. The reason, why the son took such a barbaric action against his father was not known as at the time of filing in this report, but impeccable sources attributed it to the father’s plan to take up a second wife, by abandoning his first wife the mother of the “killer son”.
According to information reaching our crime desk, the son used sharp machete to inflict multiple injuries on the father. The father died through excess bleeding.
The wicked act of the son came to the limelight when the decomposed corpse of the father floated in the well on Wednesday. As at the time of going to the press, the whereabout of the killer son is unknown. ####
