Youths of Ataba kingdom in the Andoni Local Government Area have been admonished to be ambassadors of the kingdom, to live by love with each other as an essential in the commandment of God and the only path to achieving the needed progress and development not only in God’s vineyard but in the communities.
The outgoing vicar of St. James’ Anglican Church, Ataba parish, Rev’d Appollos Idaso Ene-nte give the admonition while delivering his valedictory sermon last Sunday at St. James’ Anglican Church Parish in Ataba.
Rev’d Ene-nte urged the youths to refrain from any form of violence and resolve to loving each other, noting that the past urgly experience in the community in 2004 should be a driven force to engender and foster love amongst the youths aim at developing the entire community and churches of God.
The man of God further call on the St. James’ Anglican faithful who he described as loving people to continue in love and cooperate with the incoming vicar as well as give him the support even more than they gave him to further advance the course of the gospel.
He emphasized that without love for a fellow human being here on earth, it is impossible to love God who is spirit and enjoined all to love in other to avert any distraction.
Meanwhile, Rev’d Ene-nte has on behalf of the St. James’ Ataba parish wishes the Diocesan Bishop His lordship, Rt. Rev’d Ralph Cornelius Ebirien a warm welcome as he embark on a 2 day Episcopal tour to the parish on Saturday 14th through Sunday 15th September, 2013.
According to the outgoing vicar, who was on telephone chat with the news editor of The Newswriter, the 2 days Episcopal tour of the bishop will feature confirmation of candidates, admission of faithfuls into MU/WG and the MCA respectively.
The Vicar said, the bishop is also expected to lay the foundation of a new church at the Ayama-Ataba as well as christened it to the glory of God and further dedicate the junior workers quarters/offices built by the parish MU/WG.
Chairman of the reception planning committee, Chief Ikpoko-orene I. Ntegwung has while welcoming the bishop, Rt. Rev’d Ralph C. Ebirien to Ataba for the 2 days Episcopal tour, eulogies the tenure of the outgoing vicar as eventful, successful and a blessing to the Ataba people in general and the church in particular, saying that, with the planting of a baby church in Ataba, the unreached will definitely be reached while thanking God for such gesture.
According to the chairman, planning committee, The Newswriter Newspaper shall be leading other invited media organizations to the foundation laying ceremony of the Ataba parish, the chairman stated.
Meanwhile, Rev’d Ene-Nte is on transfer to the St. Barnabas Anglican Church Parish, Ngo town headquarters of Andoni LGA as Rev’d Canon Ataisi Julius Oyet takes over Ataba Parish.###
