Rosada International School Marks First Graduation In Style

It was a joyful celebration as parents were excited by the academic performance of their wards as Rosada International schools Elelenwo in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State marked its maiden graduation and closing ceremony in Port Harcourt.

The occasion which also doubled as the schools prize-giving day for deserving pupils, left some parents dumbfounded after their little wards displayed uncommon dexterity while entertaining guests.

The event which kicked off with special song by the pupils also witnessed quiz, drama presentations, cat walking parading and crowning of queens, kings, princes and princesses of the school.

Some Nigerian cultures and traditional dressings of different ethnic groups were well displayed, such as Yoruba, Edo, Cross Rivers, Igbo, Hausa and Rivers Attire, were displayed at the event.

An elated Rev. Daffe Samuel who is the proprietor of the school in his welcome address, said he see education as a veritable Rosada International Schools.

Rev. Daffe who is also the facilitator and coordination of project 2015, thanked God Almighty, the parents, teachers and staff for their supportive role, which he said has been of an immense benefit.

He encouraged them to be more supportive as this will go a long way to improving the learning process of the institution, he also commended the teachers for imparting knowledge on the pupils, expressing hope that the children will grow up one day to become great leaders of tomorrow.

Miss Goodness Chilaka was crowned Miss Rosada International beauty queen for 2013/14 academic year. The school also awarded a one academic session scholarship to Miss Chilaka being the best overall graduating pupil.

Rev. Daffe speaking further said the award is channeled towards developing competitive, human and better brains which the school stands for.

Responding on behalf of the parents, Mrs. Lovely Okparajidee said she was delighted at the uncommon courage and composure exhibited by the children. “It is a good beginning and fantastic efforts”. She was hopeful that they would do more in subsequent editions, noting that no parent would regret sending his or her child to the school.
