A one day retreat for the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, South-South I Region workers, Rivers State, with the theme, “Living Sacrifice”, has ended in Port Harcourt.
The retreat was also used to acquaint the church workers on the need to embrace the forth coming great deliverance anointing service.
The crusade that will be held at its headquarters #214 Aba Road Rumuola, Port Harcourt, will be conducted by the General Overseer of the ministry. Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya on Tuesday November 29, 2011.
The programme which is due to begin on Sunday 27th will end on Tuesday at the church auditorium opposite Bori camp.
Pastor Felix Peters Adedeji the Senior Regional Overseer (SRO) in his brief sermon, intimated the workers of the need to make sacrifices towards the work of God.
Sacrifices, he said, entail total submission to the will of God, self denial, restitution, something done with pain, commitment and dedication. He said these are some of the conditions attached to the service of God, and as Christian workers they must be holy at all times as that is what is accepted of the perfect ones.
The pastor gave seven points they needed to upload them in their work for God’s vineyard, spirit of justification, heavenly provoked humility, sincerity of purpose, standing for divine touch, divine visitation, desire the true God, don’t follow the ways of the ungodly, they should be always be led by the spirit in order not to do it in their own ways.
Christian workers he said shall be judged if they missuse the grace and opportunity given to them because of the prevalent events in the society, such as covetousness etc.
Pastor Adedeji also used the occasion to advice and encourage both workers and ministries to unite and work with one love in order to move the work and church God for ward. ###
