Amaechi Allegedly Grants Aide N.1b To Run ACN… No, It Is A Cheap Blackmail -ACN Chair… Prove Your Resignation …ACN to decampees

GOV. AMAECHI 2

If information making the round is anything to go by, then Rivers State governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi may have concluded his plans to decamp to the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, which may later fuse with other parties to form the All Progressive Congress, APC if registered.

Governor Amaechi has been allegedly accused to have doled out about half a billion naira for the running of the Rivers State chapter of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN.

The governor’s accusers alleged that the he is preparing to join the party in the state in case of any inventuality, hence his mission to strengthen the ACN before hand.

The source which pleaded for anonymity claimed that since the sole sponsor of the party in the state and former Minister of Transport Dr. Abiye Sekibo has left the party, the party had lost its credibility in the state and may have given the space for the incumbent governor to occupy.

But when contacted on phone, the Rivers State chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Hon. Esuku M. Esuku debunked the allegation describing it as a cheap blackmail.

According to the former Caretaker Chairman of Andoni Local Government Area and State Chairman of ACN, Hon. Esuku, such allegations were meant to discredit his integrity and that he would not succumb to it saying that he is not a gluton and Governor Amaechi had never thought of such not to mention of implementing it.

The state ACN chieftain is challenging the perpetrators of such mischievous information to come forth with proof to substantiate their claims, adding that governor Amaechi is a governor of the state but a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and such allegations are baseless, unfounded and should not be regarded by people of Rivers State.

The ACN chieftain also challenged those who decamped from ACN to state grounds for their resignation or explain what they considered as “personal reason”, and to stop fooling the people and as well desist from laying frivolous claims of what they cannot show proof.

“The informants should show proof. It is one of those cheap blackmail pls…”Esuku stated.

Meanwhile, the ACN chieftain had also enjoined the ACN family in the state to remain focused and law abiding. ####
