Chairman Commends Civil Servants

The Chairman of Rivers State Civil Service Commission Hon. Ngo Martyns -Yellowe says the State Civil Service is rated high in the whole country. Hon. Martyns-Yellowe made the commendation when the National Executives of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), paid him a courtesy visit in his office recently. He said the present administration in the State has given serious attention to issues concerning Civil Servants and hinted that the Commission plans to conduct another round of promotion exercise this year. The Chairman also commended ANAN for the National and International recognition it has attained and lauded the cordial relationship that exists between it and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Earlier in his speech, the National President of the Association, Alhaji Sakirudeem Tunji Labode said, their visit was part of the activities for an Award Night organized by the Rivers State branch of the Association. The Accountant General of the State Sir Ngozi Abu who is also a member of the association was also present at the visit.
