Christ International Church Graduates, Matriculates Students

The Practical Ministerial College (PMC), a theological institute; arm of Warriors of Christ International Church recently graduated 12 students. The occasion took place in Port Harcourt. The Principal of the college, Rev. Dr. Emma, Onuoha, in his address said, the students were given quality education that will equip them spiritually and physically to do the work of God successfully stressing that the college has trained the graduands through series of practical work, which is lacking in some churches.

He quoted 2 Timothy 2 vs 1-17 to buttress his claim. He however, recalled that, this is the second set, the institute has graduated. According to him in 2011, over 25 of them were graduated. The graduands he said were presented with Diploma Certificates.

The Guest of Honour, Rev. G.M. Idogo, cited 2 Timothy 4vs 1-7 and charged the graduands to be great preachers, and shun negative tendencies that may be a hindrance to their calling. He remarked that the work is always associated with hardship but, they should remain focus and steadfast. According to him, “I therefore, charge you to be; apostles, healers, raise the dead, preach the word and so, fight a good fight of faith and be strong in the Lord”.

The Rector, and General Overseer of the institute, Rev. Amb. John Richard administered them on oath, stressing that they should be obedient to their calling, the General Overseer, Pastors, and constituted authorities. One of the graduands who spoke to journalists at the event, Bro Cyracus Matthew, the Course Rep. said, ‘I lack words to express my joy, we have been blessed by the word of God. Jesus is able to do a lot in our lives. I appeal to everyone who calls himself child of God to enroll into PMC’.

In a related development, the PMC also matriculated 21 students and charged them to take their studies serious and be committed to the work of God. Barrister James Leremi, one of the matriculated students said, “I am here to know deeper things about God. Few days I attended lecture, I have seen the importance. Every Christian is expected to attend the PMC. It will equip you to know God and to be committed to preach the word of God”.

Highlight of the occasion, was the presentation of gift to the General Overseer.

The registrar of the college, Pst. Professor, Corlinus Oha, was full of praises that the occasion was a remarkable success. The event was graced by great men of God, and dignitaries from all walks of life. ##
