The Managing Director of Okilton Hotel Limited, Chief Isreal Amadi Ikeguru has called on the Rivers State government to improve on security and regular supply of electricity in the state to enable business thrives.
Chief Ikeguru made the call when the Ikwerre media practitioner association of Nigeria IMPMAN paid him a courtesy visit in his Rumuokwuta residence Obio/Akpor LGA.
Chief Amadi-Ikeguru who identified insecurity, lack of regular power supply and mismanagement as factors hindering hotel business in the state stressed that insecurity does not allowed most investors to come into the state for investment, emphasized that ensuring a conducive environment with regular supply of electricity will go a long way in bringing investors into the state.
The Eze Oria of Rumuokwuta as he is fondly called who revealed that mismanagement is one of the factors that is setting his hotel business backward promised to enlarged the scope of his hotel business by contracting expert that would come and rebuild it to a 3 star hotels as well as renovate it to a standard to look attractive.
He commended members of Ikwerre media practitioners for forming an umbrella body that would project the Ikwerre ethnic nationality with their pen and pledged his support to the association.
Earlier in his speech chief Esoterist Monday Wehere the publisher of The Surveillance Newspaper and National Chairman of the Association while commending Chief Ikeguru for his hospitality hinted him on the programmes of the association and appealed for his support. ###
