The Extraordinary Child TEC Talent Hunt for the year 2012, has come to an end on the 9th of December, 2012 at Isaac Boro Park, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. TEC is an initiative of Rev. Tammy Abusi, the founder of Miss Blossom Beauty Services, whose vision is to bring out the Talents in children at the early stage.
Speaking to our correspondent at the events grand finale, Chief Nabil A. Saleh, the Publicity Secretary of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture PHCCIMA and a representative of M. Saleh & Co. Ltd, one of the TEC sponsors, lauded Rev. Tammy Abusi for the job that he has been doing in the lives of the less previleged in the society.
He added that the event is now a yearly activity that takes place at the Port Harcourt Trade Fair, where children are rewarded from the first day of the event, through presentation of awards to outstanding winners on the grand finale.
In the same vein, Mrs. Stella Agada, Treasurer of PHCCIMA, who described the 2012 Annual General Meeting AGM and election of PHCCIMA as one of the best, affirming that the new president of PHCCIMA, Engr. Emeka Unachukwu, who knows the business of PHCCIMA from the scratch will exceed expectations.
She commended Rev. Tammy, promising to support the TEC project on a personal ground despite that of PHCCIMA, by next year.
However, Mr. Ugochukwu Okoloedo, Area Marketing Manager of De UNITED Foods Industries Limited, Marketers of Indomie Instant Noodles, said that they responds, when it comes to the issue of children, hence their slogan to keep Nigerian children to grow and grow better.
Ugo Wondered of any children oriented program that would be successful without the presence of Indomie, describing Indomie as an organization that is trying to bring out the best in the average Nigerian child, and the commitment to do more than they have done.
He commended the impressive turn-out of children in this years event, promising to ensure partnering with Miss Blossom Services to ensure that her vision is accomplished.
Okoloedo further applauded PHCCIMA, for its wonderful support to TEC project, urging them to make it an annual event. He called on government, organizations and individuals to partner with Miss Blossom Services to ensure that more orphanage Homes will be reached to better their lots and make them have sense of belonging.
Mrs. Ijeoma Ikechukwu, the event manager of Indomie, who presented gift items from Indomie to the winner of TEC 2012, amongst others, shared the passion of Indomie to Nigerian children and said kudos to Rev. Tammy Abusi.
