Prince Borlo-1 Releases New Album “African High Praise”

In recent times music is gradually deviating from its original purpose of ministering to the people. A lot of musicians are only interested in making money, undermining the content of their songs. This is why all sorts of junk music flood the market, influencing the behavioural pattern of their audience.
However, all hopes are not lost, there are still a few men of integrity in our society working to bring sanity to gospel music, one of such men is Prince Christian Dum Borlo -1, the Mene Yo-Orbari of Ogoni Land.
Prince Borlo-l who he said is a Pastor in Redeemed Christian Church of God and a gospel musician has released several albums, the latest one is “African High Praise” the central message is the way Africans praise God. He added that there was trouble in Africa, Liberia, Somalia, Sudan even Nigeria had crisis, but only Jesus could bring peace, the chiefs, pastors and strong men of the land could not bring solution, therefore it is expedient to praise God in African style because he has been good to us in Africa.
He therefore warned people to stop carrying their problems to man. “If God has not instructed someone to help you no matter what you do it ends up in frustration”.
Although Prince Borlo- 1 said that he is not into music for commercial purpose, but solely to use his music to win souls for God, added that he was once into secular music while he was into politics, he used his music to project former Social Democratic Party (SDP) led by Late Abiola.
However, the Prince disclosed that when God finally called him, he rededicated his life and used his talent to glorify God through gospel music evangelism.
At this juncture, Prince Borlo- 1 explained that most gospel musicians in Nigeria are into it just to make money, they are not doing it to win souls for God. The content of their songs testify my claim. It is common to hear so called gospel music with the beat of Lucky Dube or any other popular secular musician’s beat performed with Etighi dance step all these antics are simply geared towards commercial, without any effort to hear from God.
To this end, the Gospel Singer, advised that the government and people or Rivers State should encourage their indigenous gospel musicians by calling them to play in their functions. When they are not supported they get frustrated and device all sorts of antics to survive, some allegedly go into smoking and crime out of frustration.
The album has a well packaged gospel songs capable of transforming the lives of the audience. He said it contain tracks like: there is life in Jesus, Hosanna to the King of Kings, Bari E Dora Mene and many others. ###
