The recent election and transfer of leadership from the past to the present administration of Ogale Youth Council, was an indication that Ogale is truly a peace loving community in Eleme LGA of Rivers State.
Speaking to our correspondent at No. 51A Craft Road, Eleme, venue of the child dedication reception of Comrade Darlington Nyimeone, the immediate past President of Ogale Youth Council, Walter Olaka, the newly elected Ogale Youth Council President, said he came to celebrate with his Predecessor on his child dedication ceremony.
Olaka maintained that he was contributing in his own little way to ensure that his duty in fighting crime, directing the youths to be law abiding; encouraging them to be security conscious, and helping the less privileged are achieved.
He described himself as a man that has volunteered to serve humanity, adding that negotiation and dialogue will be paramount in his administration. Walter noted that there may have been issues or rumours prior to his election, but added that such may have occurred because of diverse individual interest to be in control at the end of the day.
The Youth President, expressed that what ever may have been said about him during the election, contributed to the real face and outcome of the election, affirming further that whatever that happened during the election happened for love and unity of Ogale youths, describing Ogale as loving and peaceful community. Comrade Walter urged the youths to continue to be supportive in their quest for peace.
