Four days after the son of a man fell from a tree and died, the man himself has died together with his lover and was discovered after some days.
Mr. Eze Ebereonu, a married man, fell in love with Mrs. Esther who had a quarrel with her husband and was temporarily separated from him.
Mr. Ebereonu hailed from Akuobor while Mrs. Esther was from Umugama but married to a man from Umuola village in Etche.
The lovers used to have their frolicking at Umuine Igbodo in Etche local Government Area.
The news of the love affair got to the husband of Mrs. Esther and he duly informed Mr. Eze to desist from the act as he claimed that she was still his wife.
Lover boy closed his ears to the warning until the fateful day when the husband’s warning was made true and he and his lover died in the room as they made love.
They were discovered several days after as they got rotten and fouled the air. ####
