Legislative Votes And Proceedings Book, Breaks Record

Recently at the Rivers State House of Assembly, a literary book launched by G.M Gillis has suddenly broken record.
The book emphasized basic facts that entail further understanding and explanation of frequently used terminologies in law making as well as the impact of the legislature in the same scenario.
Meanwhile, the book coincided with the existence analysis of the composition of legislature within and outside the country as to suit its proportion and gain its percentage in various states and would wide.
The author has also affirmed that, the Legislative Votes and Proceedings, took him four years to accomplish.
The book also dealt on different circumstances in parliamentary deliberation thereby touching on comprehensive glossary of legislative terminologies which include the five senses of the legislature. The Rivers State House of Assembly has assured and conceded that the book titled, “LEGISLATIVE VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS” is a key point in breaking down laws to the understanding of the masses and to the lawmakers in the state.
Speaking with the Chairman of House Committee on Education, Hon. Augustine Paul Ngo during the event, he described the book as a catalyst to law making.
Finally, Hon. Ngo described the book as a mouth piece in making law flexible to the lawmakers in the state. He urged the author to come up with more books.
Still in the Assembly, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Otelemaba Dan Amachree, who was duly represented by the leader of the House, Chief Hon. Chidi Julius Lloyd (JP) equally referred to the book a breakthrough, noting that the book is the first literary work written given the existence of the Assembly. He also affirmed as a key point to sensitize the people more in the field of law making and use of common terminologies in law making in the country.
The Leader of the House of Assembly charged Nigerians mostly Rivers State people to imbibe the culture of reading in order to acquire more knowledge.
