To crown it all, Cobia capped Pastor Scholar of Divinity and the husband also received an award.
In her speech, Judith Amaechi appreciated the women in the conference and said that God will bless them for being in his presence in the worship asking them to recognize that they are not only helpmeet to their husbands but also help mate to God in recreation.
The governor’s wife who was represented by the wife of the commissioner for Energy, Mrs. Ngozi Okay Amadi urged the Ejaforce women to call on God for wisdom so that they can carry on the responsibilities before them as women.
Talking to the press, Ngozi decried the insecurity in the country calling Nigerians to fall on their knee and cry to God who knows everything and who can do everything to intervene in the insecurity situation and give solution to it urgently.
The General Overseer, Ejaforce, Gen. Stephen Odede expressed happiness for the honour done his wife and described it as a great encouragement adding that when one is working she never expects something like this could be done but then realizes that her labour is not in vain before man and before God.
Odede explained that his wife is always in the move for God’s business, detailing that on Monday, she would be in Government House teaching, Tuesday, she gather people to pray in EverDone fellowship, Wednesday, she would also gather people to pray on 2012 ministers, and on Thursday she would be back in government home and only rest on Friday.
He noted that if she has been working like this before now, this time as he knows his wife coupled with the prayer, he would have offered to God on her behalf for more strength, she is bound do more.
The General of the Lord’s Army encourages ministers of the gospel to release their wives to the service of God.
He said that the insecurity situation in Nigeria need serious spiritual attention blaming those who are only laying blame on the government for not doing what they are supposed adding that if they continue in that way the country is definitely not going to move forward.
According to him, Nigeria has a future and despite all the attacks the nation surely will prosper all she needs is everybody joining hands with ministers of God to pray and make suggestions to government as this is the only way out.
The women in the conference were able to empower about sixty widows in cash and in kind. The conference was marked with singing of songs, children and youths chorographic dances and speeches while praises to the glory of God was poured out simultaneously. ###
