Points Of Law: Buhari Haram

Frustration is the progenitor of violence and depression. It breeds anger which in turn reproduces danger and doom. One can commit suicide out of frustration. One can kill his wife or children out of frustration. It is frustration that makes people traverse into the ill-gotten fortune of money rituals using human beings or any part thereof to make quick money even in this country. There is absolutely nothing that frustration can not fetch a desperate soul. It is the sickness of the mind. It is the worst state of human psychology. It produces unsoundness of the mind you may wish to call it madness.
This is what General Muhammadu Buhari, a man from one remote village called Daura in Katsina State has been passing through since the year of our Lord. 2003 when he decided to forget that he caused havoc on Nigerians between 1983-1985 by his harshest junta.
Since then some religious lunatics in the north gathered around him in his insignificant religious Aso Rock and mystified him, telling him that he will be a president of perhaps their “Animal farm” or their “senseless Islamized Nigeria” (Day dreaming). Hence he started behaving like a dramatized Macbeth smiling with his open teeth like his cousin, Ibrahim Babangida as if an open teeth is a meal ticket to Aso Rock. Buhari since the 2011 electioneering campaign has been behaving like a drowning man, looking for anything to hold at all cost, even at the cost of peoples’ precious blood.
At first, he declared to Nigerians that the 2011 election would be the last he would contest as he would be retiring from politics afterwards. Perhaps, he thought he would win by the activities of his blind folded jihadists littered and trained for mischief across the dessert.
But he fell like a pack of cards. Knowing that his usual down fall was imminent and that his tricks will not work, he started threatening fire and brimstone that if he lost or if the election was rigged there would be anarchy in the entire country.
He lost as expected and not even corps members were spared in the “operation Hirosima” that attended his defeat. But frankly speaking, did Buhari campaign to Nigerians during the electioneering campaign? The answer is copiously found or seated in the abundance of the negative. As a consecrated religious headmaster he settled for only northern and ofcourse belligerent northern states for his campaign. Once upon a time, his followers went gaga; burning the ruling PDP offices in Gombe State during Buhari’s sectional cum religious campaign in that state. Every accusing finger pointed at him and he ate his massive pride and apologized on their behalf. At least, I saw him manage to speak in muted English in apology on the television.
In the Bible, anywhere Jesus went he was doing good, but in Nigeria, anywhere Buhari went violence was a feature. He was always campaigning to his violent followers in Hausa/Fulani language and assuring them of anarchy in the event of a defeat which he knew was obvious and imminent. Another declaration of this Islamic guru was that if he lost at the pools he would not go to any court to challenge the winner. Two impressions were rife. One, that he would be a gentleman to congratulate the winner in the spirit of unity since he has been a head of state before and knows or should know the inestimable value of peace and unity or sportsmanship. For those who thought in that light, they believed that it was going to be a good example for Nigerian politicians who are always too ashamed to admit defeat and eat their pride in defeat or who believe that election is a do or die business.
However, for me, I knew that such thought will never be the angle Buhari will ever approach. Rather, he was already thinking of mischief as a way to express his dissatisfaction. His smile and open teeth is the greatest tool for mischief and deceit. It is a mere window dressing. Throughout the senseless killings of innocent people in the entire northern Nigeria especially North/ East, Buhari kept a high level of criminal silence. It was obvious that those involved in the belligerence were his foot soldiers doing his estimated bidding as they were shouting “sai Buhari”, “sai C.P.C” and looting, maiming, killing and setting churches ablaze in broad day light.
To be lucid, violence or indeed anarchy has come to stay because their “Oga” has lost or has been defeated shamelessly in an election he was destined to loose. Yes, destined to loose because he never campaigned to sensible Nigerians. He was always going to the Dens of these Islamic extremists to ginger them up for an Islamic war to spell doom for this country and then each time he came out of this ZOO he would smile to the rest of us since he cannot speak “torrenchi” “English”. For the fear of the appropriate English to use, he chose his audience and found a fertile ground in the north, among the people he and I.B.B and other northern leaders have buffeted with untrammeled illiteracy regime so as to use them as toys at their selfish behest. He got it and the killing and the bloodshed was enough food and pure water for his bewildered and hopeless ambition.
Again, the same man that declared that he would not challenge the result of the election if he lost was seen in the Supreme Court seated when the apex court was reading or indeed, recalling and reminding him how he got no result and how he lost at the pools. He shamelessly went back home empty handed as in the 2003 and 2007 elections. His chiefest song or music has always been “must I go and empty handed to meet my supporters so, not one soul with which to greet them, must I empty handed go?” Sure, he always has skulls or souls of innocent Christians with which to greet his Boko Haram, each time he was defeated. I am sure (though can’t remember vividly) that there was a bomb blast somewhere in the north for him after he came back from the court empty handed. “Alas, the travelers are back, all covered with debts”.
Buhari is thus the greatest liar in Nigeria. If he could tell those who care to listen to him that he would not approach any court and he turned somersault to approach the court then his words are no longer to be taken seriously except that whenever he promises us violence he must not fail to redeem it. Of course that is to prove that he is a “General par excellence”. That is the Buhari Haram.. Buhari Haram means simply that a Christian leader is a sin. That is the message that was spread to all the Jihadists and Islamists jungles before the 2011 presidential election. A Christian Ruler must be resisted, confronted and where he wins, his government must be ungovernable to the last day. This is the dictionary meaning of Buhari Haram. But do not bother to look for the meaning in any English or French dictionary. You will never find it. The meaning is simply found in Hausa/Fulani dictionary or in Arabian dictionary. Don’t look for these dictionaries in any “Kasuwa” that is Hausa name for market, but if you are brave enough, checkout in the Dens or jungles of the Boko Haram either in Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Sokoto etc, and you will see it.
Again, to further buttress the fact that you cannot trust the words of Buhari, the same Buhari that said he would retire after the 2011 presidential election is now saying Nay, I will contest in 2015. Infact, he said it on television at the Silverbird Award Ceremony recently that he was too young to retire from politics and that he would contest come 2015 election. As though that was not enough U-turn, the one now making the rounds is that he has from now decided to heat the polity by his usual threat of anarchy and violence should he loose or be defeated.
