Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor-Amadi, says the annual vacation of Judges of High Court of the state has begun on the 1st of August, 2023 and will end on Wednesday, the 27th of September, 2023.
Justice Chibuzor-Amadi in a statement signed by the Chief Registrar, Rivers State High Court, David Ihua-Maduenyi, said the vacation is in pursuant to Order forty-nine (49), Rule four (4) of High Court of Rivers State Civil Procedure Rule, 2023.
The statement revealed that all judicial divisions of the High Court shall remain closed during the vacation, adding that normal court sitting shall resume on Thursday, 28th September, 2023.
Ihua-Maduenyi further disclosed that any urgent matter filed during the vacation shall be entertained by any of the vacation judges to be appointed by the Chief Judge.
