Why Zambia Won Nations Cup

The Zambia national team is the 20th edition of the African Nations cup winner. The Zambian nation did not win the cup out of luck but rather worked to complement existing principles of nature.
First, the players all respected their coach, the players see their coach as their best friend and father figure in the team, so all the players bowed down to the coach from their hearts, taking all the coach’s instruction with gladness.
Secondly, the players believed themselves as brothers from one parents. They all see themselves as players, servants of Zambia sent on errand for the nation; hence they played out their hearts in order not to fail the Zambia nation.
Zambia has never won the African Nations cup before since its inception, though the country has come close to lifting the precious coveted trophy in 1994, when they gave the Super Eagles the battle of their lives. The country lost a generation of youthful players in a plane crash in one of the qualifying matches in that year’s Nations cup. Only one player survived in the plane crash, that is, the legendary Kalusa Bwaye.
From the on-going, the Zambian historic victory should be a big lesson for countries like Nigeria, Cameroon and Senegal, that for now have fallen by the roadside in African football. The unity, trust, oneness, rolled into one common bond of love, made the Zambians develop one spirit of love to clinch the 20th edition of the African nation cup. ###
