Akulga: Belema Monarch Donates Surveillance Boat To Youths

The Amanyanabo of Belema, an autonomous community in the Akuku-Toru Local Government of Rivers State, HRH Ibinabo T. Kalaoriye on Monday donated a W19 fibre speed boat with Yamaha 115 engine and also fibre speed boat with 15 horse power engine to the youth body of the community (Belema Youth Organization)

Speaking while handing over the speed boat to the executives of the Belema Youth Organization (BYO), the paramount ruler noted that the boat is strictly for surveilance within the Belema community axis of the Akuku-Toru Local Government Area. He unveiled the name of the boat as Belema Community Surveillance Boat.

The monarch advised the youths to shun violence, thuggery and cultism, adding that the boat should not be used to engage in any form of crime.

HRH Kalaoriye told the youths to secure the community including SPDC facilities with the surveillance boat and to report security breaches or attempt to security agencies without delay.

The Head of Belema Community also appealed to the youths to always tread the path of peace and channel their energies to profitable ventures so as to become law abiding citizens of the community.

Responding the chairman of the BYO, Comrade Okinaye Oyenegiriya Agala thanked the monarch for the donation, describing HRH Kalaoriye as a peace maker whose business is to attract development into the community.

Comrade Agala promised the monarch, chiefs and the people of the Belema community that the BYO would use the boat judiciously and also to collaborate with the various security agencies to ensure peace and order in the area.  ###
