Fall-out Of Re-run: Amaechi Risks Sack

Muhammadu-Buhari-NKA fresh tension is said to have begun at the Nigeria Federal Executive Council over the heightening plot to terminate the appointment of the Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi on an alleged incessant troubles and pains being inflicted on Rivers people during the 2015 general and 2016 re-run elections in the state.
Indications emerge Tuesday after noon when the anti-Amaechi ministers in the federal executive council met under close door with some caucus of the APC at the national secretariat over the Minister’s inability to have won the re-run elections as he brazenly claims to have been on ground in the state.
Impeccable sources within the APC national secretariat in Abuja who seek to remian anonymous told The Newswriter political correspondent that the close door meeting might not be unconnected with the plot to ensure that Mr. President ejects the transportation minister out of office for publicly disgracing the party to the world, and as well ridicule the image of Mr. President.
The sources revealed that those in attendance to that meeting were those against the activities of the said minister, which began before the swearing in of the governor of the state, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike.
According to the sources at the headquarters office of the APC, there are political parties in every state of the federation as well as the APC but the continuous disturbances in Rivers State was however obvious that the minister of transport, Amaechi was not innocent hence should be regarded as a trouble maker and cannot continue in federal executive council so as not to infest others against their states.
Our sources said on the return of the president from his summit in the United States of America, those behind the plot would meet with the president again to finalise Amaechi’s removal.
The sources also made it clear that the minister should be relieve of his appointment to face his contempt charges in court in Rivers State, said it is unfortunate for a minister to disobey a court order which himself was a beneficiary in 2007.
On his efforts during the campaign as director and major financier, the sources maintained that anything could play out noting that Mr. Amaechi spent Rivers State funds for the campaign and not his personal money.###
