Non-indiegenes Visit BIRC On Boss On Appointments

Sequence to the restructuring of the Bonny Integrated Recruitment Centre (BIRC) by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee, Bonny Local Government Area, Hon. (Amb) Charles Tonye Jumbo led administration.

On Friday 11th March, 2016 President of the Non-Indigenes Association, Bonny, Hon. Ibim Moses and his executives paid a courtesy visit to the BIRC Chairman, Hon.Amaopusenibo Wilson E. S. Jumbo (JP) in his Office at Bonny, the Headquarters of the Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State.

In his address NIAB President, Hon. Ibim Moses on behalf on the association expressed his heartfelt appreciation on the appointment of Hon. E. S. Jumbo, describing it as well deserved one.

He however, lauded the council boss and traditional rulers of the kingdom for chosen Hon. E. S. Jumbo to head BIRC.

Hon. Ibim stated that Non-Indigenes Association Bonny (NLAB) is the umbrella body of all non-indigenes in Bonny Kingdom, saying that the association over thirty (30) registered ethnic groups.

He appealed to the BIRC boss to ensure adequate employment quota of non-indigenes in the area.

In his remarks, the BIRC Chairman Hon. (Amb) Amaopusenibo Wilson E. S. Jumbo commended the association for the visit, promised that their plights will be looked into. He urged them not to engage themselves into criminal conduct, so as to enable them gain effective employment in the area. ###
