AHS Old Boys Association Honours Legborsi Nwidadah

Another feather has been added to Hon. Legborsi Nwidadah, member, Rivers State House of Assembly, representing Khana Constituency 1, as the Alumini Association of his Alma mater, Ascension High School (AHS), Nchia Eleme, Old Boys Association, Bori chapter, bestowed award of honour on him.
The award was conferred on Nwidadah on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the prestigious, Ogoni Peace and Freedom Center, Bori, Headquarters of Khana local government area.
The group which trusted Nwidadah declared that he has projected the Alma mater and that he is a catalyst in the fabrics of the existence of AHS Old Boys Association in Bori chapter.
As the old adage goes, to him whom much is given, much is expected, Nwidadah was charged to make meaningful contributions to issues in the house that will uplift his constituency and Ogoniland for posterity so that he will riot be like others who have been there and came out without knowing that there is no government light (electricity) and water in Bori.
The ceremony was also used to launch the association’s permanent secretariat and unveiling of their 2012 calendar.
Speaking to newsmen, the association’s president, Elder Noble S. B Naleh disabused people’s concept about when they were in school and called “Ascension High Trouble”, arguing that they are normal headed people like any other boys from other schools and that they have proved their potential by being permanent secretaries, lawyers, engineers, among other professions in different fields of life.
Though Legborsi was not there in person, he sent a high powered representative in the person of the past Khana LGA caretaker committee chairman, Hon. Pepson Gonee Adookon, who delivered the acceptance speech on behalf of the awardee, thanking them and telling them to continue in their good work as he will not fail them. ###
