Emohua: Chief, Cult Boys Burn Down Church, Pastor’ House

Properties belonging to one Cleric, pastor Sampson Igwe Wosa, as well as his church building worth millions of naira, were said to have been razed down by some mischievous persons at Omudioga in Emuoha Local Government Area of Rivers State.
According to some reporters who visited the scene recently, the ugly fire incident was so devastating and pathetic.
Narrating his ugly ordeal to newsmen, the owner of the burnt building, pastor Sampson Igwe Wosa recalled how one Chief Sylvanus Ahua had allege that he killed two of his relations who died on 27th December, 2015 with poison, yet he failed to report the matter to their royal father, Eze (Dr.) S.C. Onyeka as the custom of the land demands or to the police for prompt action but went ahead to buy the two boys immediately.
Consequently, Pastor Wosa has, in strong terms, alleged that Chief Sylvanus Ahua with his first son, Isaac Ahua, alongside some cult boys, masterminded the burning of his building and the church.
His words: “In fact, I can assure you that from where I was hiding for fear of being attacked by the bad boys, I saw Chief Sylvanus Ahua and his first son Isaac Ahua instructing the cult boys to set my building and church ablaze”, he said adding.
“Worst still is that Chief Ahua has boasted that the cult boys should go ahead to burn the building on the ground that he is having a strong backing from an Inspector in Port Harcourt.
“Truly, I can also assure that it took the intervention of the combined police and local hunters association’s great efforts in preventing the cult boys from burning down the building of my elder brother, Chief Godfrey Wosa.
Meanwhile, both the newly elected Community Development Committee (CDC) chairman, Bright Anaele and other members of the Omudioga Community have condemned in all entirety the action of Chief Sylvanus Ahua for refusing to follow due process of reporting the matter to the Highness of the community or police before allegedly spurring the cult boys to burn the buildings.
“Truly, If Chief Sylvanus Ahua was accusing Pastor Wosa as the cause of the dearth of the two boys, why then did he hurriedly bury the boys immediately without depositing then in the mortuary for further investigation by the police?, They asserted.
The matter is said to have been reported to the police while the two parties have been called on to be patient as efforts are in top gear to trace the real cause of the inferno which had rendered the families of Pastor Wosa homeless. ###
