Organized Roller Skating is a viable sport that could richly provide food on the table for desiring hard working youths in the society.
The sport is an international sport, though it seems risk to the common man at first sight, but in reality it is a sport that is most loved in the Western world, and had equally blessed those who partake in it, as it is, the main source of putting food on their table regularly as a secular job would do.
It’s therefore proper to support the sport in Nigeria soil, since it has a good international content and prospect.
In a chat with Princewill Ngbor, the head of technical organized Roller sports Association of Nigeria (RSAN) he disclosed that he is in Nigeria to better the lives of the youths as he is prepared to teach them the technical aspect of the sport, so that they could tap the commercial aspect and see how rewarding the sport will be to their general well being in life.
He also revealed that he is poised and well prepared to hit the ground running with the sport as to train as many as would be interested to take the sport as a means of livelihood.
“There are international meets waiting for Nigerians with the sport, and I alone cannot represent Nigeria, hence, I want to train as many youths as possible who will willingly avail themselves to take the sport as a career.
“As a Rivers man, I would want the headquarters even situated in Port Harcourt, so, I am appealing to willing sponsors and the state government to sponsor some of the international invitations, and also provide an office to house this unique sport of repute”. ###
