Three Suspects Who Escaped From Custody

Confusion erupted at the office of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, of the Bayelsa State Police Command on Tuesday after three suspects arrested for robbery, escaped from custody.
It was learnt that the suspects, Ramsey Moses, Obi Clifford and Sele Pamodie, were apprehended months ago over alleged robbery, rape and cult related activities.
The escape of the suspects was said to have caused so much pandemonium at the special anti-robbery unit.
Some of the officers claimed that the suspects escaped after they were asked to clean up the SARS premises, while others alleged that they escaped mysteriously by vanishing into thin air.
Confirming the incident, spokesman of the State Police Command, Asimin Butswat, however said the suspects were re-arrested few hours after they escaped to a hideout along the Azikoro area of the state capital.
