The Wind Newspaper Hits Newsstand Nov 4

The Wind Newspaper is to make its debut on November 4, 2015. The publication which mission is to be the voice of the people will cover events within and outside Rivers State.

The Wind Newspaper was on Sunday 25th Oct, 2015 unveiled and dedicated to God by the Most Rev. D.B. Kala-Dokubo, the Arch Bishop of Rivers Province Diocese of the African Church.

The dedication ceremony attracted people from all walks of life including Kalabari Chiefs, opinion leaders, media practitioners amongst others.

Speaking at the event, the publisher of The Wind Newspaper, Chief Lavender LongJohn, said that the publication will do everything within its reach to add value to the journalism practice in the state.

He stressed the importance of journalism in the development of the democracy in any given nation, noting that the Wind Newspaper will be an active voice to the voiceless in the society. ###
