The Nigeria representatives in the Chan and junior FIFA world cup at Chile are all advanced to the next stage of their competition with style.
The Chan Eagles diaring the weekend qualified to play at Rwanda 2016 owing to the 2 goals they scored at Adokiye Miesimaka stadium, Port Harcourt on the 17th of October as they played goalless with the Etalons of Burkina Faso at their own soil, hence the Chan Eagles qualifying on 2 goal aggregates.
The Etalons lost a penalty awarded to them, despite the promise made by the Etalons Coach Drissa, that he will cancel Eagles 2 goals in 30th minutes. This was not to be as they crash out of the competition for the Eagles to advance to the next stage.
For the Eaglets, wrong formation spoil their show, as they were tactically out played by their Croatian counterpart to be defeated 2-1.
The Eaglets were indeed out played in ball possession, tactically and technically in all department. Luck was even also on the side of the Eaglets as they survived high goals bound moves from the Croatians.
The Eaglets too was not at their best as vital goal scoring chances were wasted at goal. It was indeed the Eaglets bad day.
Though, the Eaglet lose to the Croatians, they top the group to play Australia in the next group.
Coach Amunike tutored Eaglets must have to dot his Is and cross his ts very well to surpass the next stage or forget about the trophy and to come home.
Nigerian are praying and is waiting for it fifth junior FIFA world cup at home. And the Eaglets cannot afford to be complacent at this state of the competition. ###
