ASSOCIATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY HOLDS CONVENTION

The joint national association of persons with disability has stated that it would hold its state convention on Saturday January 28, 2012, at the Special School for Handicap persons, Creek Road, Port Harcourt.
The secretary of the organization, Mr. Jeremiah Victor George stated this during a press conference in Port Harcourt.
The Guest of Honour, he said, would be the Honourable Commissioner for Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Hon. Joe Poroma, while the lead paper titled “Mainstreaming of Persons With Disability In The Socio Political Development of Rivers State”, will be presented by Hon. Dandison N. Hart, National Secretary of the association.
The secretary of the organization used the opportunity to invite all registered members of the association to come and participate in the election of its new executives.
The event will start by 10 am in the morning.
