Go-Round Partners SWAN

The Proprietor of Go-Round Football Club of Omoku town, Bro. Felix Obuah has gone into partnership in grassroots football promotion with SWAN. This became possible when the full council of the sports writers in Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to him in his waste management office.

Bro. Felix Obuah is the sole administrator of Rivers State Waste Management Agency and the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). A man of integrity and rare ability that could only be described as a stallion of a man.

While speaking to the full council of National SWAN, Bro. Felix Obuah said he has been in the business encouraging and developing grassroot sports in the country and state for the past 15 years.

Adding that it gives him great pleasure to partner with SWAN for the development and growth of sports in Nigeria and Rivers State.

Go-Round football club is playing National Amatuer seeking to gain promotion to the elite league soonest. So far, the team is giving good account of itself as Bro. Felix Obuah bank roll all expenses of the team with simple grace of enthusiasm.

He appealed to SWAN to support the growth of grassroots sports (football) by reporting more of grassroots content than English or foreign sports. He stated that he is looking forward to SWAN to be coming to Rivers State to covering Go-Round football club matches in the future.

Go-Round football Club has it own privately built stadium called Krisdera by the proprietor at Omoku town, and had been playing all its home matches there.

After going round and inspecting the facilities, the nation’s sports writers decided to give some encouragement to Bro Obuah.

The elite fellows of the pen profession applauded Bro. Felix Obuah for a job well done, for building a private stadium for the encouragement of sports and youths talents in the state.

According to Felix Obuah, he has all tribes represented in Go-Round, from the coach to the players.

He further revealed that he has 25 players in his payroll, trying to justified the name Go-Round, “It means sharing the opportunity to everyone as per the club recruitment of the players goes round and he does not interfere in the recruitment process provided the player is good. ###
