Rivers Police Command Decorates 18 Chief Superintendent Officers

chris-ezikeA total number of eighteen (18) police officers in the Rivers State Police Command who have been promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent Officer have been decorated.
Decorating them at the Police Officers’ Mess Forces Avenue, Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Ezike noted that their promotion was due to their hardwork and commitment to duties.
According to him, the eighteen officers who were promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent Officer CSO were once superintendent stressing that every position occupies by any individual is by the act of God because God is the master of all promotion.
He charged the newly promoted officers to take fight against insecurity seriously.
According to him, “don’t relent in fighting criminal especially when they fight back, fight criminal continuously without getting tired, fight them continuously until you have the dominion over them.
Policemen don’t sleep with eyes close rather they sleep with one eye close while the other eye watches criminal.
“Those of us who have not been promoted should not grumble because the promotion is on the way. Whatever happened to day is by act of God, it is God that designed it so, God is the architect of promotion so don’t be worried,” CP noted.
According to him, promotion comes at anytime, some people benefit from promotion at the early stage while others gets promotion at their final stage of service so those of us who were not promoted today may be promoted to morrow.
In a chat with journalists shortly after being decorated with the Chief Superintendent Officer position Inspector Yahaya Abdulkadir who is incharge of Mile I Police Station expressed his profound gratitude to the Rivers Police Command for the honour done him and his colleagues.
Inspector Abdulkadir who noted that they were being promoted due to their hand work and commitment for their duties assured of more commitment in his duties promised the area of fighting criminals and commended the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Ezike for his effort in fighting against crimes as well as other officers who are fighting crimes assuring that criminals will be wipe out as soon as possible. ###
