DELGA Purchases Boats

The chairman of Degema Local Government council, Mr. Daddy Pokima has bought six boats and engines to ease transportation problem in the area.
Mr. Pokima noted that these measures would revamp the transport sector of the council which according to him has long been neglected by the past administrations, adding that both the federal, state and local governments are determined to alleviate the burden occasioned by transportation difficulties.
According to him, more vehicles would soon be delivered to the communities advising them to be patient.
Responding, the former commissioner of women affairs, Mrs. Vivian Braide while commissioning the boats and engines on behalf of the chairman and his wife, Boma Pokima, advised the operators of the boats to exercise caution by putting the boats to good use. ###
