UN Conference: Rivers Top Participants’ List

As world leaders across the globe gathered at Ethiopia on 13-16th July, 2015 to mark the United Nation Third International Conference on Finance for development, about ten persons of Rivers indigenes are expected to attend the world conference.

Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke aka Mr. Vote Count” the spokesman of the International Association of World Peace Advocates made the disclosure while in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt.

According to him, the international association of world association advocate is an association with the United Nation Special Accreditation to ensure peace across the globe adding that Rivers State is topping the lists of delegates that will participate in the conference pointing out that there is move to invite chief Barr. Nyesom Wike the governor of Rivers State to participate in the conference, considering the economic significant of rivers State in the Nigeria government, stressing that the conference is gear towards financing the future development of each countries of the world.

According to him, President Barack Obama the incumbent president of America has accepted to participate in the ceremony in Rivers State the delegates are Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke, Amb. Jim Pakeivi Brown and seven others delegates including top politicians in the state.

Amb. Nkweke, further added that, it is obvious that the present Rivers government under the leadership of Barr. Nyesom Wike will enjoy the participation of various United Nation Conferences and Seminars as the International Association of World Peace Advocates has selected Rivers State as their focal state of events.

Amb. Nkweke, however added that the largest International Peace day celebration of the United Nation 2015 will take place in Rivers State hence efforts to partner with the international civil society organization with the United Nations to make the event a huge success.

He revealed that the third international conference will take place at the United Nations Economic Commission For Africa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and called on all delegates to be good representatives of Rivers State at the conference. ###
