We Will Not Disappoint Bonny Electorate — Abinye Assured

After the successful Nigeria general elections and subsequent presentation of certificate of returns to successful winners, the representatives of Bonny Local Government Area chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Randolph Iwo Oruene Brown representing Bonny/Degema Federal Constituency and Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple to represent Bonny Constituency at the Rivers State House of Assembly assured the people of service delivery.

After presentation and collection of certificate of returns, on Saturday 2nd May, 2015. Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple at Ukpo Avenue hosted PDP faithful and supporters in the area to intimate them about his certificate of return from INEC.

In his speech, Hon. Abinye thanked the electorate and his supporters for giving him the mandate to represent Bonny at the RSHA, saying that he will not disappoint them, adding that Hon. Randolph Brown will not deviate from his electioneering promises.

Abinye used the medium to laud PDP stakeholders in Bonny for opportunity done him during his campaign. According to him, “I will have my respect, to my political mentor, Hon. Amasenibo Rodaford .O. Longjohn who has impacted political experiences to me”.

He stressed that despite the challenges from the primary state to the election proper and other difficulties, could not deter him as he was still getting moral advice from the party leader and other stakeholders. He pointed out that Bonny has gotten a political leader who can move the LGA politics ahead saying that the concluded elections in the area, that out of 104 units won 98 units.

“After the swearing in ceremony, we will thank you all in all units in the area we will as well call back at LGA level”.

Hon. R. O LongJohn lauded Hon. Abinye for his steadfast in political business. LongJohn noted that when he came back to Bonny, APC was already in the LGA in full swing but I took the bull by the horn to challenge as an old politician in the area to return the image of the PDP, he said.

The former council chairman who outlined some key political positions he held, urged new breed politicians to remain consistent in their way of politicking, so as to make them credible in political profession.

According to LongJohn, he noted that politics is a game of sincerity and exposure in society for acknowledgement and further identification at all level”.

The PDP leader used the opportunity to thank all party faithful and supporters for giving PDP the mandate in Bonny LGA.

The PDP leader in Bonny LGA cautioned all elected political office holders not to over promise their supporters in scheme of needs, so as to protect their reputation. LongJohn concluded that he will ever assist any faithful young Bonny (individual) who will lead Bonny politics in years to come. ###
