Bonny PDP Goes To Church For Thanksgiving

In Rivers State, the largest party in Nigeria scaled through in all the polls held. Even the Bonny PDP Chapter candidates won all their respective position of contest.

In that regards the stakeholders of The People Democratic Party (PDP) Bonny Chapter on Thursday 16th April 2015 pulled out their drums to St. John Christ Army Church (C.A.C) Parish Abalamabie Bonny to render a victorious thanksgiving service to God Almighty for opportunity done to the party for a victory in her Elections in Rivers State and Bonny LGA.

At the church the Bishop Elect, Dappa O. Abbey who conducted the thanksgiving service takes his Bible reading from the book of Philipians 4: 4-9.

The Bishop charged those called to serve to do so with the fear of God irrespective of their bent situations.

Abbey tasked the chosen politicians to show humanity to all not minding political differences so as the nation, state and local Governments will move ahead, adding that by so doing the party will reign forever.

The Bishop prayed to those elected and the party stakeholders for favour and moral understanding of the leadership.

In his remarks the party chief, Hon. (Dr.) Simeon E. Hart on behalf of the PDP stakeholders in Bonny Local Government Area in Rivers State, thank God almighty for prayer answered to PDP.

Simeon Hart used the opportunity to thank the electorates in their difference contribution towards the successful victory of the party adding that they will not hesitate to carry all party faithful along in scheme of thing, “the party chief concluded”.

In his appreciation speech, Hon. Randolph I. O. Brown who emerged as house of Representative member representing Bonny/Degema Federal Constituency, at the church assured all the Electorate who have contributed to the party victory, saying that the party earlier aligned their request with God. Noting that this day of thanksgiving is unscheduled while he lauded the church for her acceptance, assuring that in no distant time the party would call for get together with brethren of the church.

After the famous thanksgiving at Abalamabie Bonny, a hilarious trail to the party secretariat where all party Faithful matched round Bonny LGA. The trail match retired to ward 1 where Hon.(Mrs.) Toru Ofili JP hosted all party faithful with a dinner party. Ofili thanked all members of ward I and entire Bonny Kingdom for giving the mandate to PDP while assuring that the Peoples Democratic Party government will do her best to savage Bonny Kingdom.

Also at the party, Amb. Charles Tonye Jumbo the PDP secretary Bonny LGA and alternate coordinator Wike Campaign thanked all party faithful for their total support in voting PDP all the way, and assured that PDP will not fail in returning the dividends of democracy in Bonny and Rivers State at large.

At the party, Hon. Randolph Brown and Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple respectively earnestly thanked the electorate from ward 1 to ward 12 and entire Bonny LGA for giving them the mandate to serve Bonny constituency both federal and state, they assured that the impact of their assignment will be protected at all levels.

On behalf of the party PDP, the LGA leader Amasenibo, Hon, (Dr.) Rodaford O. Long John vehemently lauded all electorate in Bonny LGA for support in voting PDP into power in Rivers State and Bonny LGA.

The former council boss, however assured that PDP will ensure to do her best in projecting policies to all party faithful in scheme of things, noting that the interest of all political parties in the area is for the betterment of the island with individuals’ motives. ###
