Caring Peoples Church Provides Water For Host Community

BISHOP LUCKY NWIKUEThe people of Gada Street and its environs in the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State will remain grateful to the Bishop and members of Caring Peoples Church, Port Harcourt, for their generosity in providing free potable drinking water for their host community.

Speaking at the dedication of the water project, Bishop Winston Iwo, the guest speaker prayed for good health and God’s abundance to those that will drink of the water, provided by his servant, Bishop Lucky N. Aroh.

Bishop Iwo who commended Aroh for his gesture, added that Aroh was in line with what he has already done in some communities in Taraba State and lauded Bishop Aroh for not doing things for himself, but for the generality of the people. He urged Aroh, not to despise the days of his little beginning and assured him of God’s suppernatural breakthrough.

Earlier in his sermon at Fire Conference Service, Children Harvest/Thanksgiving, and presentation of Queen of Caring Peoples Church, otherwise known as Miss Caring 2015, Bishop Iwo who spoke on the theme: “Can God Do All Things”, citing the book of Mark 9:23, Romans 1:18-24, Psalm 78:5, 24 and James 1:5, 6 amongst others, identified “unbelief” as the only problem of Israel and the church today.

Iwo, however urged the people of God to doubt their doubts, put their trust in God, despite challenges as one of the ways to overcome unbelief.

Speaking with journalists at the end of the water project dedication, the Caring Bishop of Port Harcourt and the resident Bishop of Caring Peoples Church, recalled 26th of September, 2010 as the day the church was engulfed by fire from the neighborhood, while they were worshiping inside.

He expressed gratitude to God that no live was lost at the end of the incidence. Aroh added that the church deemed it necessary to celebrate and appreciate God for the rebuilding of the church, and the lives of members.

Responding on the sugar level test machine he launched recently in the church for people to make use of, free of charge, irrespective of religion. Aroh pointed out that the facility is still there in the church for people to access.

He further mentioned the scholarship that has been awarded to 16 students of the Church school and the crowning of LeyiraTuaka, as Miss Caring 2015, among the high-lights of the 11th year celebration.

The duo of Bishop Dr. Jeremiah of Divine Deliverance Intercessory Church and Pastor Joseph Cookey of Awesome God Deliverance Ministry, Port Harcourt, commended Bishop Aroh for his philanthropic gesture, promising to emulate what he has done for God and humanity in their respective communities.

While the 17 – year – old Miss LeyiraTuaka, the winner and first ever Miss Caring 2015, expressed satisfaction over the process that saw her emergence and promised to use the opportunity to reach out to the less privileged in the society and however, thanked Bishop Aroh and all members of Caring Peoples Church, for the honour done her. ###
