Degema House Of Assembly Seat: Only The Very Best Material Is Good Enough – PDP Bakana Leader

Only the best material is good enough to represent Degema L.G.A in the Rivers State House of Assembly come 2015.” Hon. Chief Alfred C. C. Braide, the Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Bakana Caucus made this position while addressing PDP faithful at the weekend in Bakana.

Hon Chief Braide , a grassroots politician and PDP big wig further posits that “the last occupant of that seat was the Late Rt. Hon. Tonye Harry and the people of Degema L.G.A cannot afford to send a person of any less pedigree to that hallowed chamber this time around.

“The play ground is thus free for credible and properly educated, exposed and accessible personalities of proven integrity to throw in their hats into the fray for the people to make informed choices both at the party primaries and general elections”

The PDP according to Hon Chief Braide is committed to providing a level playing field for all participants so that only the best materials that enjoy the confidence of the people will emerge.

According to Chief (Hon) Braide “there is no room for zoning and neither the PDP nor any of its organs has zoned any office to any group or particular person in the L.G.A.”.

Hon Chief Braide advised party members angling for the position of House of Assembly to eschew hate, threats, bitterness and inflammatory statements that are capable of setting groups and communities in the L.G.A against one another.” “No single person or group of persons has the monopoly of violence in this world. Thus I advise all those persons threatening to over run communities or make members of the party’s leadership uncomfortable and unsafe, to have a rethink. The Party’s ticket to any office is neither for the highest bidder nor is it for social misfits or lawless individuals. I advise all to begin now to learn to imbibe the tenets of democracy in our speeches, thoughts and actions. Democracy indeed has come to stay, Hon Chief Alfred C.C. Braide advised”. ###
