Ateke To Speak On UN International Day of Non-Violence

Plans are on top gear by the International Association of World Peace Advocates to invite High Chief Ateke Tom, the former leader of the Niger Delta Vigilantee Force and ex-freedom fighter turned peacemaker to speak at the United Nations International Day of Non violence on a topic “seizure of hostilities and violence”.

In a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt, Amb. Emmanuel Nkwekwe, the spokesman of the International Association of World Peace Advocates who disclosed that the event is scheduled for next week Thursday, 2nd October, 2014 noted that the former warlord, Ateke Tom to speak on the issue was informed by his readiness to support the United Nations agencies in areas of humanitarian and provision, pointing out that Ateke Tom is to support 20 countries with deadly problems through the United Nations Refugee Agency as facilitated by the International Association of World Peace Advocates.

In his words, at “the moment Ateke Tom was among the first Nigerians that congratulated the United Nations peace keepers as the world celebrated the just concluded international day of peace last Sunday September 21st, 2014 through the United Nations Association of USA.

Amb. Nkweke who is also known as “Mr. Vote Count due to his relevant in crusade on free and fair elections further hinted that the international and national media houses both prints and electronics are set to publish and broadcast his speech, which will be streamed live through the internet.

According to him the International Association of World Peace Advocates is ready to support the United Nations to restore peace and bring on board activities that will eradicate violence among members’ countries of the UN, adding that UN Day of non violence should be the upper most in the heart of every peace loving person, organization and the nation.

He commended Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for maintaining peace in the Northern part of Nigeria and urged everyone in Nigeria to support him for sustainable peace in the country.

Similarly, in his remark, Mr. Belief Prince Tamunokuro, Ateke Tom’s spokesman hinted that his office and principal is ready to make his speech on the seizure of hostilities and violence among other that characterized the nations, pointing out that what twinkles him most was that his principal, Ateke Tom as a detribalized Nigeria with strong passion to helping the poor masses will ultimately make a speech that will restore peace all over the world especially now that he is an ambassador of peace.   ###
