Group Stands Still For Jonathan’s Second Term Bid

A non-political organization known as Bonny Into Glory (BIG), on Thursday declared its total support for the candidature of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

The group made this known at Bonny, the headquarters of the Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State by its leader, Amasenibo (Hon.) Fimienye Ibimam .S. Green in his country home.

Speaking to this publication, Amasenibo Green said the group took the decision because of its strong conviction that President Jonathan has what it takes to transform the country into glory.

Hon Green appealed to Bonny elite in politics to improve Bonny politics from state to national levels, adding that Bonny has been in backward in scheme of things especially in elective and appointment positions in the country.

He used the medium to call on Bonny Political Stakeholders to form a formidable front so as to be recognized at the state and national level.

Amasenibo Green is a philanthropist who impacted much on Bonny people, who know the problems of the Island and its inhabitants. The philanthropist is an advocate of peace, love and unity of the masses, who contributes to the well being of the people..

According to Green, “I am a stakeholder in Bonny PDP even at the state level, my need is peace, love and unity in the party, so as to give us victory at the forthcoming general elections”.

He advised those at helms of affairs in the party to see every information from the masses as important, saying that the expectation of the electorate is good governance from the leaders, not winners takes all.

He charged officers at the state and national levels to consider non-officers at the Local Government Area to be important in every information needed an open dialogue so as not to crack down the party, urging others to respect those in authority for the interest of the party.

“My ambition had been old in the system. The aim of my ambition is to erase out the high rate of hunger in Bonny, which was made by man. Saying that Bonny has what it takes to sustain her subjects”. He urged Bonny politicians to bury their selfish interest and think the benefit of the electorate, saying that Bonny is backward in politics at national and state levels.

Amasenibo Green lauded the efforts of the Minister of State for Education, Hon. (Barr) Nyesom Wike in building a strong hold in Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chapter, lamenting that Bonny Local Government Area has been rubbed long ago in positions of authority in appointments and election at the National and State levels. ###
