Group Set World Peace Day Agenda

A Non-Governmental Organization NGO) registered with the Corporate Affair Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with registration Number CAC/TT/Bo, 44944 known as Renaissance Peace And Aids Initiative with the primary aim and objective of sensitizing the need for peace development, especially in Niger Delta States.

According to a release sent to The Newswriter signed by the organization’s President and secretary General, Kelvin Ibanichuka and Iribi Fiberesima respectively, having recognized the importance of peace in the society, have deemed it necessary to embark on sensitization programme in Niger Delta communities to encourage peace rather than violence.

The organization has organized some seminars, lectures, workshops in various communities as part of the organization activities to actualize the noble goal called “peace” in Okrika Local Government Area (Wakirike).

In order to encourage those who promote peace in the society, the organization awards role models who are worthy of emulation in a bid to teach and inculcate in the lives of youths the benefits to be peace loving and self-reliant in the society.

The Non-Governmental Organization urged for the support of public in the ongoing “A future without Education” programme as this year’s theme of celebration come 21st September 2014.

This year’s event centres on celebrating people with physically challenged, which is key interest for peace, trust and aid in line with the objectives and aims of “Renaissance Peace and Aids Initiative in the spirit of Niger Delta”. ###
