Our dear people of Rivers State, we are non political organization, but we are concern considering serious threat and numerous political, economical, social, and security challenges in Rivers State, which becomes necessary for us to carry out a sincere evaluation of all Governorship aspirants and we appeal for your support for Chief (Capt) Sunday Nwankwo’s governorship aspiration 2015, based on the under mentioned reasons.
1. Our primary concern is to return peace to Rivers State knowing that the existing political factions cannot work together or trust each other, Captain Nwankwo is a neutral person as such he can be used to bring the political factions together in other to achieve the much needed peace in Rivers State.
2. Chief Captain Nwankwo is a Technocrat, a billionaire Investor in Oil and Gas sector and a Marine security expert, he is already a wea1thy man, and with continuous legitimate source of income he cannot be tempted to loot the state treasury.
3. Chief Captain Sunday Nwankwo has a good profile, successful in his chosen career, and has been in various high ranking leadership positions, he has individual experience and capacity to create employment opportunities.
4. Chief Captain Sunday Nwankwo understands the challenges of Rivers State people, owing to the fact he had his primary education In Degema LGA, secondary education in Birabi Grammar School, Bori and his wife from Okrika LGA, all his life activities are centered in Rivers State.
5. Chief Captain Sunday Nwankwo’s popularity goes beyond party affiliations, his line of business transverse beyond the shores of Nigeria, and he is established with International communities and his relationship with the communities will encourage and attract foreign investors to our dear state and reactivate the collapsed private sector.
6. Career measure should be a major factor for consideration of who becomes the Governor of Rivers State, we have a mono product economy in the State and Nigeria at large which is petroleum driven, and it is only a career successful expert like Chief Captain Nwankwo Sunday who can maximize our resources in the Oil and Gas and other related sectors.
7. Chief Captain Sunday Nwankwo studied in Nigeria, Ghana and United States of America, with B.Sc in Management and M.Sc in two other disciplines, he has held senior managerial positions, in oil and gas offshore multinational companies as operations manager, country manager, Managing Director, West African Manager, Oversea Manager, Vice President of his company and President/Chairman of a company.
8. Captain Sunday Nwankwo has made some notable contributions to President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration by creating jobs opportunities generally, and compensated good number of youths who worked to support Goodluck Jonathan’s election 2011 with offshore employment.
9. We cannot continue to pretend by supporting the same people in Rivers State who have never worked nor labored in their lives like you and I neither do they have any other legitimate means of income but today are displaying unimaginable wealth and money supposedly belonging to all of us. Remember if you allow them again they will continue to use their brothers and friends who they have been using since 1999. We therefore urge you to work with Captain Nwankwo as your only opportunity to be part of the government.
10. It is rather an insult to our intelligent for the same politicians who have been in the system and part of government since 1999 without creating employment nor has initiative on how to create employments, are suddenly deceiving our people that ones we vote them, they will create employment, we are not fools and no Politician can deceive all the people all the time.
11. We are appealing for all of you to come out in your numbers to support Captain Sunday Nwankwo’s ward to ward sensitization campaign for President Goodluck Jonathan’s 2015 project.
