Dr. Sonny Ajie, the Pioneer Commissioner for Transport in Rivers State and a founding member of PDP in the State who is also the Osichi of Ogba land has thrown his weight behind the Governorship aspiration of the Supervising Minister of Education, Chief Barrister Nyesom Wike.
Dr. Ajie believes that the Governorship election is not a tea party and as such PDP has to field its best candidate who should be sagacious, hardworking, political analyst planner, “which are qualities I discovered in the person of Barrister Nyesom Wike”.
I believe that Rivers people must remain focused and align with the centre by supporting President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
“I therefore call on members of PDP in particular and Rivers people in General to shun ethnic politics and give their unalloyed and unflinching support to the Governorship aspiration of Barrister Nyesom Wike”, Dr. Ajie concluded.
