Stakeholders Commensurate With Tommy On Father’s Burial

COMR. THOMAS EKEHPolitical stakeholders and people from all walks of life, have commensurated with Comrade Thomas Ozuomee Ekeh, the National President of Ohaji/ Egbema/ Agwa Youth Council, Imo State, as his late father Elder Godwin Amakonwa Ekeh, was laid to rest in his home town Ohuba, Ohaji/ Egbama L.G.A, Imo State, on the 25th of April, 2014 at the age of 78 years.

Ministering at the funeral ceremony, Rev. Ijem Okpara, Leader of Nekede 1 Section of Assembles of God Church, Owerri, Imo State in a message titled; “Blessing for those that deserved it and curse to those that deserved it” enjoined the living to seek the kingdom of God and be saved.

Both, Rev. P.N Okoro, Leader of Ohaji Section and Rev. A.E.O. Anorue, Rtd. Sectional Leader, also ministered at the ceremony, while Rev. E.E. Chuku, Rev. Ikechukwu Abazuka, Rev. V. Agbugba, Pst. Monday Ordunze and Pst. Leo Ekwujoronye, were among the officiating ministers that graced the event.

Some of the stakeholders that spoke with The Newswriter at the funeral ceremony include: Hon. Vitalis Jakponna, BoT Chairman of Ohaji Egbema/ Agwa Youth Council;

Hon. Goddy Esom Obodo, Mayor of Orlu Zone; Mr Vocor C. Andrew, Chairman, Federal Amnesty Programme, Imo State; High Chief Kerian Ojiaku, member, Imo Palm Landlords Association, Comr. Uche Ogbonna, immediate past National President, Ohaji/Egbema/Agwa Youth Council and Comrade Adonis Nick, President, Niger Delta Youth Assembly, Imo State Chapter, urged Comrade Thomas Ekeh to imbibe the spirit of humility and have a listening ear, as he steps into the big shoes that where left behind by his late father, whom they described as a “dedicated soldier of Christ and community builder”.

In appreciation, Comrade Thomas Ekeh (Tommy), thanked all and sundry for taking their time to be with him, particularly the Ohaji/Egbema/Agwa Youth Council, for their financial and material support. He assured of reciprocating council members in a special way and reaffirmed of moving the council to a greater heights.
