A Non Governmental Organization known as Civil Awareness and Economic Empowerment Initiative (CAEI) will be officially inaugurating it Rivers chapter, come 24th of May, 2014 at Isaac Boro Park, Port Harcourt.
The Executive Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi will be a Special Guest of Honour.
Speaking to The Newswriter, Dr. Cyril Y. Olaka, State Coordinator of CAEI said that the aim of CAEI is focused on reducing unemployment and poverty among the youths.
He noted that everybody that needs empowerment in the society is the target of CAEI urging Rivers people both young and old to avail themselves of the opportunity.
Elaborating in detail, the South-South supervisor of CAEI, Hon. Paul Dowells said that the aim of CAEI is to salvage the people from ignorance and poverty to create wealth, CAEI has come to create that enabling environment for each and everyone to create wealth as to be self reliance by using their minds and hands.
Explaining further he added that CAEI is the largest and the strongest grassroots motivated organized network programme in Nigeria, as it operates from the unit to the ward to the state then to the federation, pointing out that in every family there is a CAEI promoter as everybody in the society is represented in CAEI saying that CAEI has brought the traditional family unit back on track.
Speaking on the non government humanitarian empowerment organization, Hon. Dowells stressed that the organization strength is based on the partnership it has with the federal, state, multinationals hence the organization is solidly on ground.
He, however emphasized that the government cannot do everything alone, pointing out that, “it you and I in the society that will pull out our resource to put together to fix things right”.###
