Chief (Hon.) Allen Mbadiwe Ewoh (JP), a commissioner in the Rivers State Local Government Service Commission and a Political chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State, has passionately appealed to those who kidnapped the council chairman of Ahoada West local government area, Chief (Hon.) Barr. Awori Miller to urgently release him unconditionally to enable him go back to his seat and continue his good works in the area, saying (Hon.) Awori Miller is a gentle man who deserves no such harsh treatment.

According to him, the council chairman was kidnapped in Ada-George area of Port Harcourt, while on a private trip, and noted that his absence in the council since he was picked some days ago has adversely affected the smooth-running of the council.

He wondered how such a peaceful man could be kept out of his family for days and then appealed to those responsible for (Hon.) Awori Miller’s incarceration to release him without any further delay, he also appealed to the people of Ahoada West to continue to go about their normal business without breaching the law of the land, “we have not seen such as inhuman act for a long time in the state, where a harmless and innocent council chairman, going about his normal business would just be kidnapped and incarcerated ”.

Asked if he suspects any political undertone in the kidnap Saga, Chief Mbadiwe Ewoh replied in negative.

He however, said the law enforcement agencies in the state have been notified about the ugly incident. ###
