The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Rivers State Chapter has predicted betrayal of Gov. Amaechi by his wife Dame Judith soon, since everybody in the country and state were said to have betrayed him in his political career.
The party came up with this during the formal presentation of vehicles to the 23 local government areas (LGA) chapters of the party at the state secretariat of the party, 23 Aba Road, Port Harcourt last weekend.
The party recalled how Gov. Amaechi told the world that his prophets told him that Austin Opara, Aliyu Babangida, Wike, Secondus and others would betray him.
Speaking at the event, the National Deputy Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus said since everybody in the state and Nigeria have betrayed Gov. Amaechi, who is left to betray him would be the governor’s wife, Dame Judith Amaechi. “Everybody in the state, Nigeria have betrayed Amaechi, what is left is that his wife will soon betray him,” Secondus stated.
Secondus who encouraged the people of Rivers State and members of PDP to be prepared to take their destiny in their hands, reclaim their mandate by returning the government to the people maintained that, winning the votes is not a matter of media war and does not amount to the number of press conferences held but a matter of Man talk to Man and mobilization, saying that the youths should not allowed themselves to be used by those who would mortgage their future.
The deputy national chairman further stated that the governor is temporarily at the Government House and must vacate without planting any successor. “Amaechi is here temporarily, he must vacate and he cannot put his successor there.” Secondus emphasized.
While condemning the act of using people from Lagos State to manage Rivers agencies, the deputy national chairman, accused the state chief executive of disrespecting elders, traditional rulers, women and youths in the state and called on the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state to flood the state with cars for campaign purposes saying that Rivers money is available for them to take a cue from the PDP.
In a similar development, the Supervising Minister of Education, Barr. Nyesom Wike who corroborated the statement of the deputy national chairman said it implies that something was wrong when all in the country have betrayed the governor, adding that the source left for the governor to gather his message is the juju priests.
Wike challenged the APC to keep fate with one Man, one vote as the PDP is on ground to win and must resist any attempt by the APC in the state to rig the 2015 election.
Chairmen of the 23 LGA’s were warned against using the buses for clubbing having in mind that they have enemies who are not pleased with the procurement and uses of the buses.
Present at the event were former chairman of NRC, Ferdinand Anabrabra, Chief Maxwell Tasie Amadi and several other personalities. ###
