Royal Father Advises OBJ On Jonathan

A High Chief in the Kalabari kingdom, Chief Gaskin Sobrasuipiri has advised ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo to rally round the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to ensure total peace and security in the country.

Chief Sobrasuipiri who gave the advise during an exclusive interview with our Managing Editor on Monday, condemned OBJ for the letter he sent to the President.

Chief Sobrasuipiri who is also the Public Relations Officer of the Royal Fathers of Niger-Delta, said that Obasanjo being a father to the nation should be consistent and not to blow hot and cold.

He further advised OBJ not to do anything that would betray his country, saying that those who do not want President Jonathan to serve a second term in office are people who are seeking for the splitting of Nigeria.

The Royal Father appealed to OBJ to leave Jonathan alone so that he could accomplish his transformation agenda.

His words, “OBJ should remember what he has done to Odi and the issue is still before United Nations (UN), and our President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is trying his best to douse down the tension. A satisfied man or a contented man is happier than a greedy man. And I think that Jonathan will be contented for 2nd term and not 3rd term”.

Chief Sobrasuipiri applauded President Jonathan for his developmental strides and urged Nigerians to throw their weight beyond him in 2015 general election.

The Kalabari High Chief had earlier lauded the Rivers State Commissioner for Police, Mr. Mbu Joseph Mbu for the maintenance of peace and order in the state. He described Mr. Mbu as a seasoned police officer that deserves international recognition. According to him since Mr. Mbu assured office the crime rate have been reduced in the state. ###
