Last weekend, the members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Asari-Toru Local Government Area kick starts their electioneering campaign ahead of December, 10, 2016 re-run election. The campaign train moved to Wards 1, 2 and 3. The campaign was led by the vice chairman of the People Democratic Party, PDP in Rivers West Chief Odiari Princewill.
Speaking at the various wards level, Hon. Tekenari Wellington Granville, the PDP Rivers Assembly candidate in Asalga constituency 1, commended the constituents for supporting the PDP led government in the state.
Hon. Granville assured that their support will never go in vain, adding that PDP has a lot of good things to offer the people.
The Rivers Assembly candidate said there is no All Progressive Congress in the constituency. According to him, though, “Dr. Dawari George who is seeking for re-election in National Assembly is from this constituency, but he has no impact, nobody feels his existence. Hope Barango who is the APC Rivers Assembly candidate for Asalga Constituency 1 is not popular. Infact APC is dead in this constituency. The only party that is existing is the Peoples Democratic party, PDP”.
He enjoined the people to come out enmass to cast their votes for the people, stating that APC has crashed long time ago. The Assembly candidate assured them of their security during the election.
In his speech, the Rivers West Senatorial District PDP Vice Chairman, Chief Princewill applauded the members of the party for their peaceful disposition.
He urged them to come out in their numbers on December 10, 2016 to vote for Hon. Tekenari Wellington Granville, adding the Rivers Assembly candidate has the solutions to their immediate problems. Chief Princewill noted that APC is no more in Asalga Constituency 1, pointing out that on the day of the election APC will be disgraced. He had earlier commended Governor Nyesom Wike for his various developmental strides across the state. ###
