Members of the Bakana Community Trust, (CT) in the Dgema Local Government Area have been charged to exhibit transparency in the discharge of their duties.
The Amanyanabo of Bakana, His Royal Highness, O.O. Odum, VIII gave the charge, when the members of the Community Trust, CT paid him a visit, at the weekend.
The Bakana monarch told members to see their appointment into the Bakana CT as a “call to serve”, adding that the community needs speedy development.
Odum VIII enjoined the members to embrace peace and love one another stating no community progresses in the atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.
The Bakana king further admonished them to be proactive and also to cooperate with the members of the Bakana Community Development Committee, CDC to ensure transformation in the area.
In his response, the chairman of the Bakana CT, Prince Sobrasua Odum assured the Amanyanabo, that he and the other members of the CT will try their best possibly to attract the needed infrastructural development into the community.
Prince Odum promised the monarch and his Chiefs’ Council not to betray the mandate given to him as the chairman of the Bakana CT.
Also speaking Hon. Simeipiri Bestman a member of the CT further assured the king that they will discharge their functions effectively without fear or favour. He thanked the Amanyanabo for the opportunity given them to serve. ####
