OPM Rescues Kidnapped Police Officer’s Wife

The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Chinyere in a Sunday service of July 17th 2016 ordered the immediate rehabilitation of a pregnant woman (Mrs. Nkem Opone) whose husband was among the five police officers that were kidnapped while on official assignment at Ukujago-Ama in Port Harcourt.

The police officer is said to be a sergeant by rank and attached to SARS police department of the Rivers State command. The incident which occured on May 25th, 2016 attracted mixed reactions from meaningful Nigerians.

Mrs Opone who is due for delivery said ” my husband was kidnapped over two months ago and all effort made toward knowing his way about proved abortive, life gradually became unbearable especially under my present condition, my two children dropped out of school and I started stressing myself in hawking the popular Zobo and Kunu drinks which can hardly sustained my family. My church and even the police authority where my husband was working before he met the attack, have refused to come to my aid.

One day, while watching my telecast, I suddenly sighted the man of God “Apostle Chibuzor” on my telecast with his number displayed on the screen. I picked up my phone with tears in eye and called him and I narrated my predicaments to him. He demanded that I should see him in the Sunday service which I did. While in the church, he requested to see me and upon sighted me with heavy pregnancy, he shown compassion on me and directed that my maternity bill till delivery, my children educational expenses shall henceforth be taking care of by the church and I should be giving sufficient amount of money to start a good business to sustain myself and my family while an accommodation shall be provided for me at the OPM free housing Estate.

Mrs. Opone who hailed from Okwuani in Delta State is neither a member of OPM nor has she any relationship with the General Overseer, but with tears of joy, she called on God to continue to bless the man of God for doing what her family members and the police authority where her husband was working for, could not do for her.

The servant of God used the occasion to call on Nigerians to inculcate the habits of supporting the various security agents in their selfless duty to the Nation because the hazard associated with their duty can not be quantified in monetary terms. “This people (security agents) will abandoned their families and risked their lives at the expense of our comfort, they deserved to be encouraged at all levels”, the Apostle emphasised.
