The Caretaker Committee chairman of Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State, Chief Oye Igenewari has come under severe criticism for poor performance and inability to initiate policies and programmes that will economically empower the youths of the area.
Speaking to our correspondent at Abua Central on Wednesday, the National Coordinator of Abua/Odual Youths Federation, Comrade Boroye Evans blasted the council boss for his insensitivity to the plights of the youths.
He expressed sadness that Abua/Odual remains poor and under developed in Igenewari’s administration. Comrade Evans decried poverty and penury facing the rural dwellers, adding that the ABOLGA CTC boss is unconcerned about the well being of the people of the area.
Comrade Evans revealed that the people of Abua/Odual LGA are not happy with the Igenewari’s administration, stating that in no distant time the youths of the L.G.A will stage a protest against the CTC chairman’s snail’s pace development policies. ###
