The newly coronated Eze-Ebube 1 of Woji community in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Chief Israel Omodu Chioma has promised to be loyal, support and work with the paramount ruler/Nyenwe-Eli Woji community, HRH Eze Sir (Dr) Emeka G. Ihunwo in order to move the community to the next level.
Chief Chioma pointed out that for years, Woji as the ancestral home of Evo kingdom has lagged behind, but has now taken its rightful place since Eze Ihunwo was enthroned as Eze Woji a year ago, adding that, “this is laudable. I am very happy and optimism that more progress will come to Woji”.
Chief Chioma was speaking shortly after his installation as Eze-Ebube 1 by Eze Woji, noting that the Eze Ihunwo has endeared himself into the heart of people as the best Woji monarch. The Eze-Ebube 1 who described himself as good, kind and loving personality that has always sued for peace and unity of all in the community.
He also said that he is a good ambassador of Woji community, assured that he will continue to remain focus and positive to things that will bring glory to his community.
Chief Chioma advised the people of Woji to come together, embrace peace and eschew rancour and acrimony that will jeopardize the general well-being of the people. He enjoined the people to rally round the Eze Woji to succeed in order to launch the community on the path of progress.
Eze-Ebube 1 had earlier launded Governor Nyesom Wike on his giant strides and described him as an astute administrator. While thanking the governor for the reconstruction of Woji road, now renamed Eze Dr. Frank Eke Road, he appealed to him to give Woji a secondary school, “because it rightly deserves it, being the ancient traditional headquarters of Evo kingdom. ###
